Muskoka Fire Rating Currently Moderate

As of April 16, 2015 the Muskoka fire rating has been "MODERATE", which means no daytime burning is permitted.  Fires must take place between two hours before sunset and two hours after sunrise. Your fire must be no greater than two meters in diameter and only environmentally friendly products may be burned. You must be with your fire at all times and have sufficient tools and water available to extinguish the fire if the need arises. Remember the smoke from your fire cannot interfere with your neighbours or the roadway.

The Muskoka Fire Season runs April 1st to October 31st each year. The rating is verified daily and updated whenever the rating changes.
