Brian Middleton (Caribou Lodge) Memorial

The Wood Lake Cottagers’ Association extends its sincere condolences to the Middleton family on the passing of Brian Middleton, owner of Caribou Lodge on Wood Lake. Brian was a much-loved member of the Wood Lake community and a true friend to the Wood Lake Cottagers’ Association. Brian passed away at home, surrounded by family, on January 17, 2026.

 Brian’s daughter, Anne Taylor, asked us to pass on this message to the Wood Lake community:

We are grateful to everyone who has been a part of the Caribou Lodge story and who helped make this place so meaningful to him. His legacy lives on here in this beautiful land of rock, water and trees. Please know that we will continue his legacy and lovingly steward this place we call home.
